Yes I have ASD and was only diagnosed as an adult. An assessment of my needs and any help would have been fantastic as at the moment, if you're diagnosed as an adult you're essentially left to get on with things yourself. There are some services for adults available (in Cardiff at least) but you are left to figure that out and seek any help yourself. |

Mental health conditions, such as anxiety. It can be that a person wants and needs help but cannot ask for themselves due to anxiety, especially around having to do things for themselves - even if they appear to be high functioning. Just being high functioning can deter people from seeking help, as they are made to feel that they should 'just get on with it'. |

It should happen all the time. We have Autism all the time, so raising awareness should be all the time too. |

It would be good for people on the spectrum, but only if it's not only focused on children with Autism. Most services for people with Autism is centred on children and seems to ignore those who were diagnosed at adults or people who were diagnosed in childhood who need help as adults. It's almost as if people don't think about the fact that Autistic children eventually grow up to be Autistic adults. |
